Sam’s private practice covers all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He is keen on facial aesthetic surgery including nose reshaping, breast cosmetic surgery as well as breast reconstruction including microsurgical breast reconstruction, and body contouring surgery including weight loss patients.

Sam Orkar qualified from the University of Jos, Nigeria as best graduating student of his set. He completed the Nigerian and West African training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery and worked as a consultant general and plastic surgeon in Nigeria. He undertook further training at the following renowned plastic surgery units in the UK: The Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit, Glasgow, St Andrews Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns, Broomfield Hospital Chelmsford, the Queen Victoria Hospital and The McIndoe Centre, part of Horder Healthcare, both in East Grinstead. He completed fellowships in cosmetic surgery, breast/microsurgery and hand surgery. He currently holds an NHS consultant post at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and covers the Medway Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

He is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery and is a full member of The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, BAPRAS and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, BAAPS.
