Dr Dario Rochira started his medical career with the intention of becoming a Vascular Surgeon. However after one year Dr Rochira realised that Plastic Surgery was going to be his true calling and he went on to qualify as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon.

Dr Rochira graduated from the School of Medicine, Catholic University of Rome in Italy in 2004 and completed a Fellowship in Microsurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a special focus on free flap breast and inferior limbs reconstruction.

Dr Rochira then obtained a Diploma of Sonography and is included in the Italian Registry of Specialist Sonographers. Dr Rochira has a special interest in implant-based and autologous-tissue breast reconstruction evaluation and has performed over 1,000 breast ultrasound scans.
