Cosmetic surgery is a branch of plastic surgery.  It is not a type of magic that is able to give us the perfect body, as that doesn’t exist. Nor does it give us the body of someone else, as you are unique in the world.

It is able to improve our look (very often massively), restoring self-confidence and giving a better living. Being in a body with good harmony gives better feelings, BUT the key of success is to have realistic expectations and clear goals that are achievable. I am against morphing, which means to reshape the before pictures with a software to show the potential result. Although this is useful to book the operation, it is very often unrealistic.

I think is very important to have a clear and sincere dialogue with the surgeon during the consultation to be able to understand what is possible to do and if this matches with your expectations. The surgeon should be able to show several before and after pictures, in a way where the patient can see the real change that the body can achieve.

The result after a cosmetic procedure is an improvement of your look, not a perfect body, as that doesn’t exist, nor the body of someone else.  You are unique in the world.
