I qualified as a doctor in 1970 and started training in plastic surgery in 1978 and so have thirty eight years experience in plastic surgery, with additional training in the fields of orthopaedics, neurosurgery, ENT and eye surgery. I have experience in all forms of cosmetic surgery and have carried out most of the modern techniques available today.

My practice is based upon the idea that a patient must be fully aware of the range of treatments available to deal with their problem. It is important that patients understand the risks and possible complications, as well as the benefits. I have written a large number of information sheets on most of the plastic surgery procedures that I do. I like patients to read these either before or soon after a consultation with me. This will then lead on to a second consultation and then to the appropriate operation or treatment.
