Mr Hyder Ridha

MB BS, BSc (Hons), FRCS (Plast)

Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon

Hyder read medicine at the prestigious Royal Free and University College London Medical School where he graduated with distinction (MB BS). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Developmental Biology (First class Honours).

After completing his basic surgical training he undertook specialist plastic surgery training in the East of England deanery, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr Ridha undertook further training in the form of fellowships in microsurgery and in aesthetic surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Hyder has research interests in antioxidants, anti-ageing and microsurgery. His research contributions in these fields have been published in leading plastic surgery journals and been presented in major national and international conferences.

He is also a plastic surgery trainer, teaching higher surgical trainees in speciality training and is a faculty member on microsurgical and FRCS (Plast) revision courses.
