Born and raised in London, Marcus was awarded his Medical degree from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London in 2004. After completing his House jobs, Marcus completed his Basic Surgical Training, followed by a period of clinical research in Cutaneous Lasers. Marcus then spent more time in Plastic Surgery and was subsequently appointed to a National Training Number in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, passing the specialist exams and gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2016. Marcus has been on the GMC Specialist register in Plastic Surgery since 2017, and is in the process of getting “credentialed” in Cosmetic Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons.

Marcus has trained in some of the most prestigious Plastic Surgery units in the UK – most notably in East Grinstead, St Andrew’s (Chelmsford), St Thomas’, The Royal Marsden Hospital and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. Marcus gained a Masters degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona – spending time training in Helsinki, Paris and Barcelona.
