Mr Martin Klinke is one of London’s leading orthopaedic surgeons, focusing on all problems affecting the foot and ankle. He is the only foot and ankle surgeon in London with qualifications in orthopaedics and sports medicine.

After graduating from medical school in Frankfurt, Mr Martin Klinke received a master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice. His thesis focused on gait analysis and foot pathologies.

He completed his post-graduate orthopaedic training in Germany (Frankfurt/Munich) and France (Paris) before undertaking a fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic in Stanmore, London.

Thereafter he worked with Prof. Hinterman in Basle Switzerland who is the world-leading specialist in ankle pathologies and total ankle joint replacement. In 2003 he was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas hospital trust with a special interest in ankle and hindfoot pathologies.
