Welcome to the website of Miss Mary O’Brien, Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon.

Miss O’Brien has served on the Council of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) since 2015. This role promotes safety and training in Plastic Surgery and champions the rights of patients undergoing Cosmetic Surgery. In 2018 she was elected Vice President of the BAAPS.

As the only female plastic surgeon with both private and NHS practices based in Derby, Miss O’Brien is uniquely placed to offer expert advice and support to all patients considering both surgery and non-surgical treatments.
