Mr Matthew James is a specialist in hand surgery, facial plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures to the breast and abdominal region. He undertook fellowship training in facial plastic and cosmetic surgery at the McIndoe Surgical Unit. With 10 years post fellowship expertise in post pregnancy abdominal wall reconstruction and all aspects of cosmetic breast surgery, he has pioneered a novel muscle splitting breast augmentation procedure to avoid the ‘fake look’ and dynamic breast deformity.

Supported by an outstanding team of therapists and nurses Mr James believes that an open and honest rapport is the key to providing the patient with the best possible outcome from surgery. He believes it is essential to talk through all aspects of the surgery before making any decisions – having a clear understanding of the benefits of the surgery balanced against the possible risks ensures the experience is as stress free as possible.
