Mr Dunkow originally grew up on the Fylde Coast and Arnold School in Blackpool. He then went on to study at Manchester Medical School where he underwent his undergraduate and post-graduate training. He carried out his orthopaedic training as a registrar at the Manchester Teaching Hospital and hospitals around the North West.

He has trained specifically doing a fellowship in knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and also hip replacement surgery. It gives him great pleasure to return to the Fylde Coast where he has now taken up a position as an orthopaedic consultant at the Victoria Hospital, Blackpool.

Mr Dunkow’s current practice encompasses all aspects of surgery of the knee, including knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery of the knee and cruciate ligament reconstruction. He also performs conventional hip replacement surgery. He is looking forward to meeting the needs of the people of Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Mr Dunkow is always happy to give advice and discuss cases.
