Mr Alvi worked in the NHS as a Consultant but now focuses on Cosmetic Aesthetic surgery and teaching and training the next generation of Plastic Surgeons. He is a highly respected consultant with nearly twenty years experience in Aesthetic surgery of the Face, Breast and Body. He regularly lectures at national and international forums.

Mr Alvi believes in taking his time with each patient to provide an open and honest opinion regarding their cosmetic surgery options. He always sees his patients at least twice before agreeing to carry out any procedure. This is to ensure the patients will be informed about their choices and the likely results of their chosen procedure. His reputation as a highly skilled surgeon can be gauged by the vast number of reviews on various websites.

Despite his busy schedule, Mr Alvi is keen to conduct clinical research and audit. He publishes in plastic surgery journals and is regularly invited to present at conferences and seminars.

Mr Alvi has also been involved with charitable work in Pakistan for the last 16 years, helping to train the next generation of Plastic surgeons and setting up a trauma centre for the poor.
