The Westbourne Centre was launched in January 2009 by four well-established surgeons who wanted to provide a safe and pleasant environment for their patients, and have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring about new methods for treatments.  The surgeons Mr Fazel Fatah, Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa, Mr Stephen Dover and Mr Anthony Summerwill created a joint venture with the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare Group.  The addition of Ramsay Healthcare to The Westbourne Centre ensured hospital operations support and access to the most advanced clinical technologies.
